Practice flow

Prepare, then head to the hill.

Dryland training comes before on-snow practices. Complete the current school eligibility and screening steps, review equipment guidance, and watch TeamSnap for the first practice details.

Coaches share the practice venue, meeting time, pass requirements, and any schedule changes. Check the latest message before leaving, especially when weather or hill conditions may affect the plan.

Race day

Use the invitation as your plan.

01

Confirm your place

Race entry depends on the event and available team spots. Coaches share invitations and lineup details in TeamSnap.

02

Check arrival details

Follow the team message for meeting and travel plans. The published race start may be later than the team’s arrival time.

03

Watch for changes

Weather, course conditions, and race operations can shift the schedule. Keep the current event message available during the day.

Transportation can differ by race. Confirm where athletes should meet, who is providing transportation, and when the group expects to return.

Gear and family help

Show up ready to participate.

Check skis, boots, poles, helmet, and any required pass before practice or a race. Ask the coaches about issued equipment, race suits, or donated gear before making purchases.

Race-day jobs may include gate judging, timing, and course work. The team shares the roles needed, signup instructions, and event briefing. Find official training references on Useful Links.
